 “RPG Developer Bakin”
Celebrating the First Anniversary of the Full Release!
Major Update Expands Auto Battle and Video Production Capabilities!
Anniversary Sale and Artwork Submission Campaign Also Underway
Today, SmileBoom Co.Ltd. is pleased to announce that its PC game creation tool, "RPG Developer Bakin" (read as "BAH-keen"; hereafter referred to as Bakin), has reached the first anniversary of its full release.
At the same time, we have released the major Ver. 2.6 update, which introduces a new Auto Battle feature, enhanced video presentation capabilities, and more.
To commemorate the first anniversary of the full release, we are also holding an anniversary sale featuring Bakin and various DLCs. In addition, we are running the “Second Official Website Background Artwork Call for Submissions,” an initiative that will feature selected user-created artwork as the background of the official website’s top page.

 “RPG Developer Bakin”
Major Update Expands Character Expression with Support for "Live2D®" Animated Illustrations!
Today released the major update Ver. 2.5 for “RPG Developer Bakin” (read as "BAH-keen"; hereafter referred to as Bakin). This update introduces a variety of new and improved features to support game development, including the ability to use Live2D models directly within games.
In addition, the "SmileBoom Early Summer Sale 2026" is now underway, offering Bakin itself and various DLCs at special discounted prices.
To further increase awareness of games created with Bakin and support creators, we have also launched a Steam Curator page featuring selected titles and begun accepting submissions of user-created works.
