RPG Creation Tool for PC "RPG Developer Bakin"
New Features such as Auto Save and “State” Abilities!
Major Update Ver. 1.11 Implemented
New DLCs “Modern Item Icons” and “PixelScapes Town Pack” are released!

August 28, 2024 - Sapporo, Japan - SmileBoom Co.Ltd. today released version 1.11, an update of "RPG Developer Bakin (pronounced BAH-keen)" that adds an auto save feature, new "state" abilities, and more. We are also pleased to announce the "SmileBoom End of Summer Sale 2024" with a 10% discount on "RPG Developer Bakin" and DLCs (until September 11, 2024 at 7:00 PM PDT), and the new paid DLCs "Modern Item Icons" and "PixelScapes Town Pack" are now available.

- At last, an auto save feature is added! Ver. 1.11 is released with many useful features!
In Ver. 1.11, we have added useful features that have been requested by many of our users.
Auto save related functions have been added to allow auto saving at any time during the game. New “State” abilities have also been added, such as “Change in Resistance”. In addition, a number of features have been added to improve game creation, such as the function to specify portrait entry and exit animations for conversation events, and the function to change the order in which message windows and portraits are rendered.

== RPG Developer Bakin Ver. 1.11 New Feature Overview ==

- Auto save feature and forced save/load event panel added
The auto save feature will save to a special auto save slot when moving between maps. Using the “Forced Save/Load” event panels, the game can be saved to an auto save slot, so that users can perform auto saves at any time during the game.

- Animation of entering and exiting portraits for conversation events, and the function to change the order in which windows and portraits are rendered
You can now change the way portraits are displayed at the start of a conversation or over the message window.

- Added new abilities to the “State” abilities, such as “Change in Resistance”
In addition to the above, several other abilities have been added, such as the ability to "grant another 'state' when a 'state' is removed". We also added a function to multiply the color of the cast graphic by an assigned color when the cast is in that "state".

Many other features have been added and improved.

"RPG Developer Bakin" is a game creation tool that combines ease of use and high features, making it easy for anyone to create games inspired by "your world". It includes a map editor that allows you to create maps as if you were playing a game, an event creation system that controls the game by simply arranging panels with functions, a database that provides detailed character status settings, advanced screen effect settings that can dramatically change sceneries, and many other tools. Graphics and sound assets are also provided, so you can start creating "your game" right away.
